Isolation Transformer
Isolation Transformer blocks the conduction of direct current (DC) signals, but permits AC signals to pass from one circuit to another. Isolation transformers also obstruct interference produced by ground loops.
An isolation transformer operates as a decoupling device. The symmetrical windings of an Isolation Transformer are used to isolate or disconnect two circuits. Isolation Transformer takes alternate current (AC) from one device and supply it into another device without electrically connecting these two different circuits.
